As an Asset Recovery Manager for Vista, you will be responsible for developing net new supplier relationships for additional sources of both new and aftermarket technology products. This role will also serve as the primary point of contact for interfacing with vendors to identify desirable products, assist with determining market value and negotiating terms with existing and net-new suppliers. In this role, you will be responsible for handling larger volume relationships and higher dollar transactions rather than supporting the organization’s daily procurement obligations. The main goal as an Asset Recovery Manager is to increase available inventory positions while driving down acquisition costs.
Actively prospect into new sources for new and/or refurbished technology equipment including:
Data Centers and Hosting companies
Public/Privately held companies
Asset recovery organizations
Other regular sources of defined technology products
Effectively use lead generation techniques to assemble lists of prospective suppliers.
Establish new equipment sources through outbound prospecting and marketing campaigns, and maintain relationships with contacts and decision-makers.
Maintain activity level standards (number of calls, number of appointments, time spent prospecting, etc.).
Strategically manage sales cycles, manage accounts, and provide pipeline sales forecasts.
Assist in marketing activities, development of marketing collateral, and email campaigns.
Build a pipeline of potential future business by prospecting via the Internet, assigned territory lists, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and other sources as identified.
Consistently maintain monthly and annual purchasing quota.
Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with customers.
Develop domestic and international long-term vendor and supplier relationships
Investigate and/or interview potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified vendor requirements.
Negotiate long term high volume sourcing agreements based on defined target inventory levels and price points.
Facilitate the accounting, shipping and operations for all supplier transactions.

Education & Experience
Previous technology sales experience and/or experience in asset recovery resale a definite plus.
One to two years’ B2B sales or purchasing experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
Microsoft office including Excel, Power Point, Word.
Be a team player and self-starter with ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Superb written and phone communication skills are essential.
