Devon McNamara Wins Second Vista Visionary Award

Devon McNamara

vi·sion·ar·y· noun · (from Latin “one who see”) someone who is able to imagine how a thing should be and strives to make it so.

The Visionary is appointed by Vista each month as recognition for seeing a need in the organization and taking initiative to satisfy it without being prompted. This team member goes above and beyond their daily responsibilities and does so with an outstanding attitude. This month Devon McNamara, our Accounting Clerk was nominated by Eric Smith, our Managed Services Sales Director and Ericka Braley, our Finance Manager.

Why Did You Nominate Devon?

"Devon embodies everything it is to be a “Vista Visionary”. Not only is she exceptional as an accounting clerk in performing all of her duties (including continually pushing herself to learn and grow), but she also goes out of her way to help other departments whenever she has down time or if she sees they are struggling. The success of Vista lies in everyone’s ability to see the bigger picture and do whatever is necessary to meet our goals as a team. Devon is a big part of that success”. -Ericka Braley, Finance Manager.

"Devon has a great attitude and is always willing to go above and beyond to help with anything and everything. She is what you would consider an ideal employee”. -Eric Smith, Managed Services Sales Director.

What Does the Visionary Mean to You?

"To me winning the visionary means that all the crazy chaotic days are worth it. I think that the Visionary award helps remind people that every single person here is needed to make Vista what it is. Vista is an amazing company to work for and I could not be happier to be a part of it”. -Devon McNamara, Accounting Clerk
