On Sunday, May 19th, Vista attended The Autism Society of Kent County (ASK) annual Walk for Autism Event at the LMCU Ballpark as a Gold Sponsor for the second year in a row! The crew showed up strong with five employees running our booth and representing Vista, including employees who have Autistic children of their own.
Many sponsors that regularly reserve space for their companies are usually connected as a service or agency to Autism. Often asked about why an Information Technology company is sponsoring, we respond, "Vista is a company that is very passionate about community philanthropy and Autism touches the lives of many of us, including people in technology." The V-team spent the day visiting with the Autism community, handing out swag, and talking about what Vista can do to support other businesses in the community. ASK raised roughly $47,000 that they will put back into the Autism community in Grand Rapids, MI. We couldn’t be happier to have been a part of this amazing event! We received a thank you letter from the Executive Director for Autism Support of Kent County:
“
Your participation helped create a vibrant and supportive atmosphere that we will cherish. This achievement would not have been possible without your involvement and generosity.
