Other Microsoft Licensing Changes
You may be aware that the Microsoft Open License Program has ended as of January 1st, 2022. All Perpetual Licenses including popular offerings such as Windows Server 2022, User/Device CALs, SQL Server, etc. will no longer show up in VLSC (open volume licensing) or MPSA portals. However, perpetual licenses can still be ordered through your preferred Microsoft CSP. Perpetual licenses purchased through a CSP will now be in your Microsoft 365 Admin Center below your list of Microsoft subscriptions. Microsoft hopes this change will centralize your products, subscriptions, and perpetual software.
